2017 was the best year yet…
Only in the Mountains Realty !
While three big words in real estate are…
location, location, location,
there are other important factors that affect volume of sales, and activity of people listing or buying property.
The overall economy in the U.S., disposable income, are a couple factors that affect sales everywhere, and maybe even more so here in the mountains.
This year proved to me that a solo owner/broker firm can serve clients well in a more distant area from the city. It’s not a “deal breaker” not to have a fancy office, or staff. With my membership in a regional Multiple Listing Service the “playing field” is the same as a broker with a large firm in the city. My website also attracts people searching for home and lands in the western North Carolina mountains. I have had the pleasure of representing clients in multiple transactions, and also appreciate referrals that I receive whether for someone listing their property for sale, or from a satisfied buyer.
During 2017 I represented:
buyers only, buyers and sellers in a transaction, and sellers only with another firm representing a buyer.
These transactions resulted in sales totaling $1,097,500 !
With all that being said…
to the sellers who chose me to list their property for sale
to buyers who placed their trust and confidence in me to find them a new home or land.
No two transactions are identical, and there were some new experiences in 2017…
only in the mountains!
